Discussion With Steve Malzberg About Islamic Jew-Hatred in Europe and The Brussels Jewish Museum Jihad Carnage

Steve Malzberg was kind enough to feature and discuss my essay on the canonical Islam Jew-hatred which pervades the European Muslim community. This “sacralized” animus which spawns the overwhelming share of violent attacks on European Jews, and all the murderous ones, is not “new.” Indeed this ugly Islamic phenomenon is at least 1000 years old, within Western Europe itself.

At long last, even Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center took the first inchoate steps acknowledging the Islamic “religious” origins of this scourge. Accompanying an international delegation of Jewish leaders from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, during a meeting with French President Francois Hollande, Hier candidly observed, that “the main reason” for Islamic Jew-hatred, and its sequelae—such as the carnage at He Jewish Museum of Belgium—was,

that religious leadership of the Muslim communities remains part of the problem, not part of the solution…
