Quid Pro Human Rights Quo…At Last?

Frattini (above) and Littman: Courageous European Islamo-Realists

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, evidencing  a moral clarity about the Islamic Middle  East nearly absent in our sorry age, has stated that European Union funds, “…should be reduced if not eliminated entirely”—the EU must advance from “monitoring to action”—if Muslim nations fail to protect their Christian minorities from ongoing persecution, including murderous attacks. He implored the other EU members to join Italy, adding,

Italy cannot stand alone, isolated in the worldwide battle  to make sure that Christians are not persecuted

Muslim depredations against Middle East Christians were contextualized and decried by historian David Littman during his recent, very moving address to the (Orwellian monikered) UN Commission on Human Rights.
