Geert Wilders and the Mendacious Very Little Green Craven One (and His Mindless Minions)

See The Door(s): You’re Lost…Who Are You?

Over in the Lost Land of the Mendacious Very Little Green Craven One, and His Mindless Minions, there is a predictably distorted “discussion” of yesterday’s banning of Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders from Britain, where Wilders was slated to show his film Fitna at the House of Lords.

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer have informed discussions on the subject of Wilder’s banning.

 As I had noted in a blog on the subject of Wilders, Churchill and the Koran,

 Wilders, like Churchill (who wrote that Mein Kampf was “…the new Koran of faith and war: turgid, verbose, shapeless, but pregnant with its message”), compared the Koran to Mein Kampf, and called it hate speech according to the Dutch Penal Code. And as in the case of the Calcutta Koran Petition from the early 1980s in  India, Wilders, like his Hindu predecessors was fed up with Muslim abuse of similar Indian laws (**SEE BELOW), and simply saying if one bans hate speech, in accord with existing Dutch Law, then the Koran is hate speech. But the Mendacious Little Green Craven One and His Mindless Minions, are too blind and stupid and agenda driven to see, let alone acknowledge this. Here is an extract from a speech Wilders gave last year on the subject:

Madam Speaker, the Koran is a book that incites to violence. I remind the House that the distribution of such texts is unlawful according to Article 132 of our Penal Code. In addition, the Koran incites to hatred and calls for murder and mayhem. The distribution of such texts is made punishable by Article 137(e). The Koran is therefore a highly dangerous book; a book which is completely against our legal order and our democratic institutions. In this light, it is an absolute necessity that the Koran be banned for the defence and reinforcement of our civilisation and our constitutional state. I shall propose a second-reading motion to that effect.

Earlier Wilders suggesed in a letter-to-the-editor in  the de Volkskrant newspaper, that again as per Dutch Law,  the Koran should only be permitted for research at an academic level.”

Here are germane extracts from my discussion of the Calcutta Koran Petition which illustrate how it is the abuse of hate speech laws by Muslims seeking to impose Sharia mandates on non-Muslim majorities that is the source of the problem:

“One particularly successful action stands out, as described by [Sita Ram]Goel. Two Hindus were arrested—under Indian penal code sections exploited by Muslims to prevent public criticism of Muhammad or other aspects of their creed—for publishing a poster which cited 24 Koranic verses ( see them below), with a caption, “Why riots take place in this country.” The protesters added their own editorial comment that these verses,

…command the believers (Muslims) to fight against followers of other faiths…so long as these ayats [verses] are not removed [from the Koran], riots in the country cannot be prevented…There are numerous (other) ayats of the same sort. Here we have cited only 24 ayats. Obviously, these ayats carry commandments which promote enmity, ill-will, deception, fraud, strife, robbery, and murder. That is why riots take place between Muslims and non-Muslims, in this country as well as [the rest of] the world. In the above mentioned 24 ayats of the Koran, Muslims are commanded to fight against the followers of other faiths. So long as these ayats are not removed [from the Koran], riots in the country cannot be prevented.

The ruling magistrate sided with the accused Hindus, and in dismissing charges against them, observed,

…a close perusal of the Ayats [verses] shows that that the same are harmful and teach hatred, and are likely to create differences between Mohammedans on one hand and the remaining communities on the other [emphasis added]

(9:5) Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.;

(9:28) O ye who believe! The idolaters only are unclean. So let them not come near the Inviolable Place of Worship after this their year. If ye fear poverty (from the loss of their merchandise) Allah shall preserve you of His bounty if He will. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise.;

(4:101) And when ye go forth in the land, it is no sin for you to curtail (your) worship if ye fear that those who disbelieve may attack you. In truth the disbelievers are an open enemy to you.;

(9:123) O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).;

(4:56) Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise.;

(9:23) O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers.;

(9:37) Postponement (of a sacred month) is only an excess of disbelief whereby those who disbelieve are misled; they allow it one year and forbid it (another) year, that they may make up the number of the months which Allah hath hallowed, so that they allow that which Allah hath forbidden. The evil of their deeds is made fairseeming unto them. Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk;

(5:57) O Ye who believe! Choose not for guardians such of those who received the Scripture before you, and of the disbelievers, as make a jest and sport of your religion. But keep your duty to Allah if ye are true believers.;

(33:61) Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.;

(21:98) Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come.;

(32:22) And who doth greater wrong than he who is reminded of the revelations of his Lord, then turneth from them. Lo! We shall requite the guilty.;

(48:20) Allah promiseth you much booty that ye will capture, and hath given you this in advance, and hath withheld men’s hands from you, that it may be a token for the believers, and that He may guide you on a right path.;

(8:69) Now enjoy what ye have won [in war], as lawful and good, and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.;

(66:9) O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey’s end.;

(41:27) But verily We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste an awful doom, and verily We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do.;

(41:28) That is the reward of Allah’s enemies: the Fire. Therein is their immortal home, payment forasmuch as they denied Our revelations.;

(9:111) Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph.;

(9:68) Allah promiseth the hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers fire of hell for their abode. It will suffice them. Allah curseth them, and theirs is lasting torment.;

(8:65) O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence.;

(5:51) O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.;

(9:29) Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.;

(5:14) And with those who say: “Lo! we are Christians,” We made a covenant, but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefore We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.;

(4:89) They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them;

(9:14) Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them, and He will heal the breasts of folk who are believers.”

  1. Yes, Mr. Bostom, it is nice to be among the Banned From LGF. I am in good company. I was banned for noting that during one of Charles’ brief moments of open registration that there were more posters for him to ban….and I was, in something like 30 seconds. Now I ask you, how obsessive about your blog do you have to be, in order to ban someone that fast? You have to be in front of your computer screen just waiting for someone to insult you all the livelong day!
    Perhaps, if Charles hasn’t banned Melanie Phillips yet, he should read the money line in her latest column:

    “So let’s get this straight. The British government allows people to march through British streets screaming support for Hamas, it allows Hizb ut Tahrir to recruit on campus for the jihad against Britain and the west, it takes no action against a Muslim peer who threatens mass intimidation of Parliament, but it bans from the country a member of parliament of a European democracy who wishes to address the British Parliament on the threat to life and liberty in the west from religious fascism.”

    Pretty much sums it up. And this is why I am so disappointed in Charles. His ego won’t allow him to consider the fact that he might be wrong. His pride has caused an awful and unnecessary wedge between people of good will and now we are factions in a spitting match with each other, instead of being united against the real foe.

    Out of fear (?) the label ‘religion’ grants an umbrella of protection to Islam that it does not extend to Judaism, Christianity, or any other faith. We are expected to ‘tolerate’ the intolerance of Islam, accept racism of it’s adherants while being labelled racist for pointing out their racism and intolerance simply because it is a ‘religion’.
    We are expected to respect their limitations of access to, criticism of, examination of, source documents and yet believe we maintain our first amendment rights in tact. No other group receives these protections.
    In the USA we are all equal under the law, with equal protections, equal vulnerabilities.
    If this is unacceptable to Islam, it doesn’t belong in the US. Ban it. To remain in the US, it must remain equal to all others, remove all racist and intolerant doctrine, remove all intolerant and racist practices – in order to enjoy all the protections and vulnerabilities extended to ‘religion’ under our laws and expect/demand nothing more.

  3. I sort of wonder at the interest in Johnson and his green footballs.

    For a while, a couple of years back, he seemed like a sensible commentator with sensible sympathies. Then he proved to be a nutjob of sorts.

    I’m not really sure what the big deal is. Is he so influential that he needs to be publicly discredited to protect the resistance?

    I would be very surprised if that were the case. His writings were never that terribly good. OK perhaps, but not super-duper.

    How and why has he become such a celebrity?

  4. The Dan Rather story, joe. That’s what made Charles a hero.

  5. Jewel:

    Now I get it. Regrettable.

    Thanks

  6. Ok, the Rather story. But what has he done for me lately? *thump, thump* Geert under the bus? No thank you. Step off Charles and don’t forget your transfer. Lord knows there’s a creationist post in your future.

  7. I believe Charles’ more recent behaviour is the result most likely of some kind of intimidation and/or threats. At one point a frivlous complaint by muslims led him to be briefly “entertained” by the FBI. Nothing came of this, but this had to have shaken him up.

    I lost respect for him after he uniltalerally declared Fiordman to be a genocidal anti-semite, and ultimately Charles and his minions talk tough, but once the FBI came calling, they folded up like a house of cards. Pathetic really. So many fo his posters carry on about fighting for freedom, but when the real cruch came they snivelled off into a corner somewhere.

    He’s also had a sudden about-face on carpet-bombing, retroactively implying that his entire country’s WWII history is one gigantic warcrime. He’s a loser now, and I just can’t be bothered to wade through endless hundred’s of posts all dedicated to worshipping at the altar of the great Charles.

    Gates of Vienna has mercifully few posts to read through, and so is at least a better bet for those starved for time…

  8. As a Dane I know, that this Charles, do not have a clues what is going on here in EU.

  9. another thing, Charles has become obsessed with evolutionary theory, it gets precedent over all things Jihad related. All I can say is who cares? If one has an interest in that kind of thing there are plenty of other blogs and websites to visit in that regard that SPECIALISE in natural evolution . What is he going to add to it?

    personally I am no Creationist, but Charles needs to get a grip – not that he will of course. If a dirty bomb set off by jihadists goes off in Tel Aviv or Paris, Charles would maybe get round to blogging on it after several posts on the same day analysing to death a press release from the Discovery Institute and the Board of Education in Texas. He is no longer relevant, and his echo chamber at his blog would be so funny if it weren’t so sad.

  10. It’s not that the Quran is laced with hate speech, racist invective and incitement to hate and violence ..other religious texts with such text might be found… it is that to be a Believer you must accept that this spew is the word of a perfect being ..the uncreated, immutable word of an omniscient, omnipotent THING, which by the by, combines the character of Machiavelli, Edward I of England, and Julius Streicher while creating the world and figuring out rules for daily life and obeisance.

  11. I thought Charles was interesting at first. But when I disagreed with evolution I’m sure I was on his bad list. I will never accept the theory that humans were “improved” over time from apes. So of course Charles banned me even though I seldom went to his website. No loss.
    I thank God for Andrew Bostom & Spenser.
